When Westfield veterinarian, Dr. Loomis, received his Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine from Oklahoma State University College of Veterinary Medicine in 2005, he was also the recipient of the World Animal Care Foundation Award – recognition that is bestowed upon the student who best promotes the importance of the human/animal bond. He also studied animal science at the University of Georgia (from which he graduated with honors). It is this kind of compassion for animals that drives Dr. Loomis every day.
