Dr. Raina Schunk joined the team at SWVG in 2015. She received her undergraduate degree in Animal Sciences as well as her veterinary education from Cornell University. She pursued additional training in the care of birds and exotic pets through a rigorous internship and two-year residency, and is board certified in avian practice. Dr. Schunk cares for all manor of pets, from parrots and hawks to snakes and lizards to ferrets and rabbits, even wallabies and pigs (and of course, cats and dogs!).
