Dr. Michelle Jack grew up surrounded by pets, from cats and birds to lizards and mice. As a result, she knew from a young age she wanted to be a veterinarian. She completed her undergraduate training at Mount Holyoke College in Western Massachusetts. She then obtained her degree in veterinary medicine from The Ohio State University and completed an internship in avian and exotic medicine and surgery. Dr. Jack routinely attends various veterinary conferences to stay on top of all medical advances. In addition to canine and feline conferences, she routinely attends conferences in avian, small mammal (rabbits, ferrets, guinea pigs, rodents), and reptile medicine. Dr. Jack has taken courses in fish anesthesia and surgery, rigid endoscopy, bird fracture repair, rabbit and rodent dentistry, emergency medicine of exotics and several ultrasound labs in cats, reptiles, dogs, ferrets and rabbits.
