Country Companions Veterinary Services located in Bethany, CT is a small and large animal veterinary practice which provides the highest quality medical care using the latest technology to pets and farm animals in a friendly, relaxed, country setting. They provide care for dogs, cats, goats, sheep, cows, llamas, alpacas, pigs and poultry.

Dana Perry, DVM

Dr. Dana Perry grew up in Bethany and is happy to be returning to her hometown. She has a BS in biology from Tufts University and graduated with her DVM from the Tufts Cummings School of Veterinary Medicine in 2023. She enjoys the variety of patients in mixed animal practice and has a passion for birds of all shapes and sizes. She has two spoiled pet birds, Artie and Buckbeak, a small flock of well-loved chickens, and an aviary full of quail. She enjoys hiking, gardening, and listening to rock or metal music in her free time.

Kimberly McClure Brinton, DVM

Dr Kimberly McClure Brinton is a Bethany native who knows that you really CAN go home. She has a BS in Animal Science from the University of CT and her DVM from Auburn University (WAR EAGLE!!). She loves mixed practice although it gets hectic at times & has particular interests in soft tissue surgery, dermatology, geriatrics, small ruminant (goat & sheep) medicine & surgery and she loves cows! She has a small backyard poultry flock, has 2 cats, sheep and goats, and two deaf dogs Harriet & Allie. She is a member of Trinity Evangelical Free Church, Christian Veterinary Mission, member of the Bethany Lions Club, past president of the New Haven County Veterinary Medical Association, President of the Veterinary Management Council of Connecticut and is a former instructor at Quinnipiac University. She loves hiking, gardening, reading and really wants to see Bethany's Black Bear on one of her walks around Lake Chamberlain!
