Tobramycin is an aminoglycoside, broad-spectrum antibiotic used in combination with other antibiotics to treat urinary tract infections, peritonitis, cloacal infections, endocarditis, pneumonia, bacteremia and sepsis, respiratory infections including those associated with cystic fibrosis, osteomyelitis, and soft tissue injuries. Tobramycin is often used against Pseudomonas aeruginosa infections.
