Sea Tangle


Laminaria japonica

Sea tangle (Laminaria japonica) is an edible brown seaweed that is a popular dietary supplement in Korea. L. japonica is high in protein, amino acids, polyphenols, soluble dietary fibers and minerals.

Immune enhancing properties: A study conducted on 150 growing ducks showed that supplementing their diet with 1.0% sea tangle and activated charcoal (STC) was a useful alternative to formally-used antibiotics.
