Lovage (Levisticum officinale) is a leafy perennial plant that has long been used in Europe and is highly sought after for its leaves, roots, and seeds. Lovage contains high amounts of coumarins, limonene, camphor, and eugenols. Lovage has been linked to improving kidney health, and has been found to stimulate urination, but doesn’t lead to a loss of electrolytes.
