Dr. Sherry Himmelstein (University of Pennsylvania 1976) treats dogs, cats, and birds, along with injured wildlife. Her special interests are diabetes and weight management. She and her husband, Dr Ken Bernstein, have 2 dogs, a cat, 5 ducks, 4 chickens and 2 grand-dogs (who belong to their adult daughters). She enjoys hiking and is president of Minnechaug Land Trust, a non-profit organization that protects open space in Hampden and Wilbraham.
