Forestville Veterinary & Bird Hospital, located in Forestville, MD, was established in 1957 to provide personalized care for the pets in the community. Dr. Diarra graduated from Kharkov Zoo-veterinary institute in Ukraine in 1985. His educational journey brought him to the University of Maryland (College Park) where he studied reproductive physiology and endocrinology. Dr. Diarra interned at Veterinary Referral Associates and Quince Orchard Veterinary Hospital in Gaithersburg. He then worked as an associate veterinarian at Lynn Animal Hospital in College Park and VCA LEWIS Animal Hospital in Columbia. Dr. Diarra worked at VCA Bowie Animal Hospital for 7 years. He was the medical director of VCA Bowie Animal Hospital for three years before opening Forestville Veterinary and Bird Hospital.
Dr. Diarra is a member of the American Veterinary Medical Association, Association of Avian Veterinarians, DC Academy of Veterinary Medicine, and American Embryo Transfer Society.
