Dr. Valerie Head joined Corinth Animal Hospital in January 2019. She loves providing care for your exotic mammals, birds, reptiles, cats, and dogs, and has special interests in surgery, exotic animal husbandry, and preventive care! She graduated from the College of Veterinary Medicine at Kansas State University in 2017. She is a member of the Association of Reptilian and Amphibian Veterinarians (ARAV), the Association of Avian Veterinarians (AAV), the Association of Exotic Mammal Veterinarians (AEMV), as well as other local and national veterinary associations. Her work with prairie dogs was published in the Journal of the American Association for Laboratory Animal Science in 2017, and her work with chameleons was published in the Journal of Herpetological Medicine and Surgery in 2018.
