Chippens Hill Veterinary Hospital is an AAHA accredited hospital which has been serving the pets and families of Bristol, CT since 1976. The practice is located in Bristol, CT and provides veterinary services to a wide variety of small animal species, including chickens and ducks. They offer a wide range of advanced and specialty services in a small, intimate practice setting.
A 1970 graduate of the University of Pennsylvania School of Veterinary Medicine, Lawrence Linnetz founded Chippens Hill Veterinary Hospital in 1976. While managing an AAHA certified hospital and providing medical care for birds, reptiles, rabbits, pocket pets, dogs, and cats, Dr Linnetz and his wife raised two sons, Eric and Michael. During his 31 years of practice, he hired Dr Elliot and Dr Sweet and eventually sold Chippens Hill to his son Eric, who graduated from Cornell Veterinary College in 1997. In his spare time, Dr Linnetz loves to ski and since his retirement has been seeing more of the world than snow-covered mountains; his most recent trip was to Morocco! We are happy to announce that he will be back at Chippens Hill seeing appointments on Sunday mornings.
