Bonnie Brae Veterinary Hospital is a small animal hospital that treats a wide variety of different animals---including dogs, cats, exotics, and birds (including backyard poultry!). The hospital offers up-to-date Western Medicine including diagnostic testing and therapy, digital X-ray, surgery, and pain management. Many of the doctors also have a special interest in acupuncture, chiropractic, and chinese herbal medicine.
Angel has been with Bonnie Brae since its beginning in 1991. She received her veterinary degree from NC State University in 1988. Her special interests include Acupuncture, Chinese Herbal Medicine, Nutritional Management, and Avian Medicine. She has a very holistic approach to medicine and includes conventional as well as complementary modalities in her practice. Angel is certified in acupuncture by IVAS, is a member of the American Holistic Veterinary Medical Association, and has further education in Traditional Chinese Medicine.
Iain Fitch, DVM, DC
Iain joined Bonnie Brae in 1997. He received his veterinary degree from NC State University in 1989. After graduation, he pursued further education in animal chiropractic and exotic mammal medicine/ surgery. He is a member of the American Chiropractic Association and he enjoys attending annual chiropractic and exotic mammal seminars.
Lynn Encarnacion, DVM
Dr. Lynn has been with Bonnie Brae Veterinary Hospital since 2011 in a Relief Veterinarian role. Since this time, her hours have increased, finding her here several days per week. She has built up quite a base of clients and is well loved. Dr. Lynn earned her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine in 1999 from Colorado State University School of Veterinary Medcine. She is also a Certified Veterinary Acupuncturist (2010), as well as a Certified Veterinary Laser Therapist (2012).
