Dr. Pikas completed his undergraduate work in 1996 at Washington University in St. Louis, focusing on Environmental Sciences. He attained his D.V.M. from the University of Illinois in 2003 and continued with an internship in 2004 in small animal medicine, surgery, and critical care. He chose Bolton Veterinary Hospital because of its great staff with an unbelievable amount of cumulative experience, knowledge, and expertise. In addition, the hospital is able to receive emergencies 24 hours a day. His special interests in the veterinary field include emergency medicine, critical care, and wildlife/zoo medicine.
Michael Tulman, DVM
Michael Tulman, DVM joined BVH in May of 1972 after graduating from the New York State Veterinary College at Cornell University. A lifelong resident of Connecticut, Dr. Tulman was born and raised in Hartford, graduating from Weaver High School and attending the University of Connecticut before pursuing his doctorate in veterinary medicine. Dr. Tulman has focused his practice on general veterinary care with special emphasis and training in general and orthopedic surgery, avian medicine, and farm animal medicine and surgery.
