Cyadox

Cyadox (Cyx) is a broad-spectrum, quinoxaline-based antibacterial known for it's effectiveness against the majority of pathogenic bacteria (including Campylobacter, C. perfringens, Escherichia coli, Pasturella, Salmonella, Staphylococcus, and Streptococcus) in poultry. It is the drug of choice in animals due to it's low toxic effects.

  • Administered orally at a dosage of 14 mg/kg body weight, given every 12 hours for 3-5 days was effective in treating necrotic enteritis caused by C. perfringens in broilers.
