Norwegian Jaerhon

The Jaerhon is the only breed that is credited to Norway. It was developed around 1920 by breeders around the town of Stavanger on the Southern Atlantic coast of Norway.

Day-old chicks are sexable by color. The males have "bad" barring on the breast and legs. The rest of the bird is white, with some yellow/gold/brown in the hackle, back and tail.
