Hamburg

The Hamburg breed are known for their graceful elegance and active nature. This breed enjoys having lots of space to forage for food and if not provided this they can get bored easily, leading to initiation of fights with other flock members.

They have long, compact bodies with wide flat shoulders, well-rounded breast, and neatly tucked large wings, and a long sweeping tail. They have a medium-sized rose comb which gradually tapers into a long fine spike. The Hamburg breed has slate blue legs without feathering, white earlobes, and brownish red to reddish bay eye color. Their plumage may be gold pencilled, silver pencilled, gold spangled, silver spangled, or black.
