Ameraucana

The Ameraucana (also known as the "Easter egger") was developed in the United States in the 1970s. It was developed from the Araucana, a tail-less bird with tufts that lays blue and green colored egg shells. It is a calm and gentle bird with do well living in confinement and interacting with children.
